Methyl Myristate

Methyl myristate has a honey and orris-like odor with a corresponding flavor at trace levels. May be prepared by direct esterification of myristic acid in the presence of gaseous HCL.

Product Application

1. Used as the material of polyurethane elastomer.

2. Used as chemical reagent, also used in plastics and synthetic organic.

3. It is the acidifier of food and drink, whose function is better than citric acid and tartaric acid.

4. It is the raw material of medicine, yeast extract, insecticide, adhesives, synthetic leather, synthetic dyes and spices.

5. Mainly used as the material of nylon 66 and engineering plastics, also used in the production of ester products, used as plasticizer and advanced lubricant.

6. Adipic a sour taste soft and durable, is a good PH regulator. Used in jelly powder(Max 0.15 g/kg) and solid drink

powder(Max 0.01 g/kg).
